Chris Langlois has attained the reputation as one of Australia’s leading contemporary landscape artists. His powerful imagery of the sea, sky and land transcend time and space to become about personal experience. This exhibition spans 15 years, revealing the evolution of an artist committed to experimenting with ideas and techniques. Touring to 6 regional galleries including Manly Art Gallery and Museum and Gippsland Art Gallery which co-developed this exhibition.
It was in 2002 that Chris Langlois held his first survey exhibition, at Metro Arts in Brisbane and the Newcastle Art Gallery, entitled Everything and Nothing, and it is from that point that this exhibition continues the story of one of Australia’s most distinctive contemporary landscape artists. Manly Art Gallery & Museum and Gippsland Art Gallery are delighted to present Chris Langlois: Points in Time.
